Thorne felt a wave of ecstacy hit him, a feeling he hadn't had since the love of his life had died. He knew there was going to be a connection to her now, a connection like that he had only shared with one other in his entire life, but he dared not make it like the previous one had been. He had felt too much pain to ever delve into that again, or atleast thats what he thought for now.
"Rose, I have a jar filled with blood for you in the other room, but my blood is different from the kind you're used to... it will heal you alot faster, and it should get rid of your fatigue quite quickly. As a matter of fact you should feel very energized after drinking from me." Thorne knew the effects his blood had on vampires, but failed to mention the sexual desire it also induced, he figured he would leave that one out since it would be obvious to her anyway. Not to mention he didn't want to embarrass her.

Rose breathed and looked at him, slowly laying back again. She felt a rush go through her that she had never felt before and senses come alive that she hadn't felt in years. She looked at him and nodded. She slowly sat up, her back wasn't hurting anymore and she felt very energized just like he said. She looked at him, wondering.
"What are you?"

"Well I suppose since you trusted me with you being a vampire I can trust you... I'm not from this land, or this world for that matter. I'm a Roselian. Its a planet fairly far from here. I myself am extremely old by most people's count. I'm in my thousands as a matter of fact. I have been wandering the universe ever since my home world and my race were destroyed by my brother Xion. I'm still looking for him so we can settle the fight between us. He rules over a race of cat-like creatures called Shorin. My ship needed some maintenance so I landed here and fixed it. I fell asleep after I got done then figured I would start living here for a while. I never imagined I would meet someone here like you, a vampire I mean... my former wife was a vam-" he stopped himself and sighed, knowing she probably didn't want to know any of this.
"Anyway I am what you would call an alien to this world... so I hope you do not hold it against me." Thorne knew she had to be a good person deep down and hoped she wouldn't hate him for being different. "Well now you know what I am..."

She listened intently, nodding slowly as she. She was slightly confused, of course it was all foreign to her. She looked him up and down slowly, he didn't look like anything she would consider an alien. She bit her lip, looking up in to her eyes again and suddenly fought back all the urges she suddenly felt for him.
"I understand....If anything more I do, living in a world where you are different and must hide all the time. It's not easy..."

"Its the furthest you can get from being easy, but its a life I have lived for well over a thousand years. And I will live this way until the day I die unfortunately." Thorne saw in her eyes the feeling she was probably feeling for him by now, sympathy or maybe actual attraction. It had been so long that he had forgotten what it felt like. Thorne felt horrible for the people he met sometimes, but at others he envied them.
He knew Rose was a good person for allowing him to live here with her, and if anything he could be her eyes and ears outside this place during the day. She would need to feed too, and he knew more than enough ways to drain blood from almost any living thing, you have to know those things when you fight a war. Anything Thorne knew, including hunting, he knew from his former life as not only an Emperor, but also as a soldier and a fighter.

Rose bit her lip looking at him. She stared at him for a moment, like she was looking in to his soul. She suddenly pulled her gaze away and stood, turning a few lights on in the house. She then looked at him again.
"Are you hungry? I can make you something to eat."

Thorne smiled when she looked into his eyes, he knew she was looking into him, like so many people had before. Strangely enough, it never bothered him when people peered into his crimson eyes. There was no doubt in his mind that he could see through her eyes and directly into her very soul, she had been living in solitude for a long time now, and she wanted, needed the company and companionship. Thorne knew that to a point, he needed it too.
Thorne smiled to her and chuckled. "I'd love something to eat, but please allow me to help you, I am quite a good chef now so I can cook just about anything. Oh and like I said there is a jar of blood on the table for you, I got it from a thief who tried to steal from my camp. I slit his throat and drained him. I hope he is to your taste."

She glanced at the jar before looking at him. She felt something for him now, she wasn't sure what but she knew she wanted to have his company. She finally smiled, get pearly white fangs flashing.
"What would you like to eat?"
She headed over to the kitchen, which was small, but served for her purposes. She opened her pantry and started to look through it. She had no need for a cooler, she hunted all of her meat and vegetables fresh.

Thorne chuckled and came up behind her and hugged her, though he didn't know why he felt he could do it so easily. He walked over to the pantry and got out some spices and looked around her kitchen. "Well I think I still have some fresh meat in my things if you would like to make some stew with me."
Thorne fetched the meat he had stored in his things, it was four young rabbits he had caught that morning. He looked to Rose and wondered if she still ate conventional food like alot of vampires he had known. "So do you only survive on blood now or do you eat other things for sustenance too?"

She was surprised by the hug and she bit her lip, wanting to turn to hug him back. She then turned, smiling at him before walking over and grabbing the rabbits.
"I can make us something better then stew."
She went over to her sink and took out a knife, starting to clean them.
"And I do....I wasn't born vampire so I ate human food and can't lose my taste for it..."

"So you do still eat human foods. You know the original race of vampires don't just drink blood, but they eat fruits alot. I should know... my former wife was of the true race of vampires. She died when my brother destroyed my home." Thorne thought talking of Kira, his former wife, that he would cry or atleast become saddened, but when he was talking to Rose he seemed to be ok.
"So what is it your going to make for us this evening my friend?" Thorne had never eaten a human dish from this world, since he had only been here for maybe two days. He wondered what it was she would be making for them, and wondered if her cooking would taste as good as she was beautiful.

Rose glanced at him.
"I...um...don't remember much of how this all happened."
She looked back at the rabbits, starting to cut up the meat.
"And what I am making you is a surprise...."
She looked at him again and smirked.

Thorne smirked back and rubbed her shoulders for her as she cleaned the rabbits. "Well if there is anything I can do to help you I would love to help you out my dear. After all you shouldn't have to do all this by yourself." Thorne wondered if he might have something he could use as a treat for her to have with her meal.
As he rubbed her shoulder muscles, he could smell pheromones coming from her, the affect his blood had on her was suprisingly strong, and yet she wasn't trying to claw him to pieces to sleep with him. This young lady had alot of will power, and he was impressed by that very fact. Thorne smiled to himself and wondered what his blood tasted like to a vampire, since he never found much of a taste to it himself.

It was hard for her to focus on what she was doing with him so close to her. Though she could not lie, him rubbing her shoulders felt amazing. She suddenly turned and looked at him smiling.
"Over in the corner is the latch to the cellar would you mind going down there to my storage and getting me some onions, potatoes and garlic?"
She took a breath, biting her lip, looking in to his eyes again.

Thorne looked to her and noted the word garlic, wow a vampire eating garlic, this was new to him. "Since when do vampires eat garlic?" Thorne smiled and pecked her lips, knowing what it would do and headed to the cellar. As he opened it, he gave her a quick wink and headed on down.
As he looked around the cellar he found everything she had asked for, including the garlic. He still didn't know that she could eat it, since he knew most vampires were allergic to it. It couldn't kill themof course, but it did irritate their thjroats and make them sick, like a cold or something. He stayed down in the cellar for a few more moments then took her the ingredients, making sure to close the cellar door before he walked to her and handed them over.
