She turned to him again, nodding to him.
"yes it is, please hurry...."
There was a slight pain to her voice, she quickly rushed to the door, unlocking it and rushing it, hiding in the shadows behind the door, allowing him to step in.

Thorne stepped in and waited as she closed the door. He had been right, there were no windows on the cabin, which furthered his suspician of her. The smell of blood, the pain in her voice, the cabin with no windows, it was easy for him to piece together. Thorne turned to her as she closed the door and took a good look at her mouth, which he knew now what to look for.
"Your a vampire aren't you? It was awefully brave of you to endure the sunlight to talk to me, but why did you do that?" Thorne knew she couldn't be anything else, he knew Vampires all too well, one of which he had been married to once upon a time. He just hoped she wouldn't be alarmed by his knowing.

Her head snapped up, looking at him, her eyes glowing slightly. She stared at him for a moment, breathing gently, wondering how he had figured it out.
"How do you know?"
She whispered lightly.

"One, the faint smell of blood, its coming from your mouth. Secondly, you were in such a hurry and pulling your hood further over your face to keep the sun from hitting it, and the pain in your voice suggested something was hurting you. Lastly, I looked at your mouth just now, I saw your fangs. I have seen vampires in my lifetime, one of which... meant the world to me. I know your kind fairly well, and I have nothing against them." Thorne of course wasn't going to tell her the vampire he had been in love with was from the true race of vampires that had colonized several planets, she probably wouldn't believe him if he had told her.
"Its quite alright, I have nothing against you, and so long as you don't over do it, you may feed from me on a semi-regular basis, I am immune to the vampire "curse" that afflicts most others." Thorne knew this would be odd to her, but she looked hungry from the damage the sun had done to her, and he couldn't die so easily from being fed upon, it was a match he could live with for now.

She continued to look at him, now wondering if she should be worried. She was able to keep this a secret from the villagers for years, going far in to the city at night to feed when she needed too. She let out a gentle breath, pulling down her hood and taking off her cloak.
"I must trust you with this now. No one knows here and I have been able to keep my existence peaceful among these people. If they were to find out what I really am it would be the gallows for me."
She walked past him, turning on a light. She then looked at him again.
"And thank you again for your offer but I will be fine....I can go out in the sun usually, in the early morning and late evening, but I didn't expect to become so side tracked."

"Again my apologies. But my offer for you to feed from me still stands. It won't kill me I can gurantee it. I have been fed upon before." Thorne smiled and looked around. The place was nice and cozy. It was furnished nicely, and he figured she lived alone being a vampire, but sometimes he forgot that on worlds like this one, they were hated and feared, and must live in secret.
"You can trust me with your secret Rose, I promise you I will not say anything to get you hung. In the mean time, I thank you for your being so kind to me, and for showing me your home when you did not have to, it takes alot of bravery to do these kindnesses for a complete stranger, I admire that." Thorne wondered about asking if he could stay with her, but knew that may be too forward. "Well I suppose I will come back later tonight and see you, then you can show me the village if its ok with you, but for now I will go back to my camp and make sure I have everything in order, I don't want to impose on your time to rest." He gave her a light smile and headed for the door.

She nodded slowly, feeling she could trust him. She gave another gentle sigh and nodded.
"It was my pleasure....and thank you...for your understanding."
She bit her lip gently as he headed for the door.
"Do you need anything for your camp? I mean....you are welcome to stay here at night....that forest is not all that safe."

Thorne turned and looked at her biting her lip, he knew she thought he was handsome, most women did, but he didn't want to lose yet another person because of his knack for getting into trouble. "Well... I wouldn't want to impose on you or anything, I am a fighter after all, I can take care of most anything. But if you want me to stay with you, if for nothing more than company, I suppose its alright with me, but only if thats what you want."
Thorne walked back to her and stood close to her, making sure she could get the smell of him down pat. He knew Vampires used their scent to identify people, and his was unmistakable considdering he smelled like blood and roses. "I'll be back before sundown then, I am just going to go get my things and make sure I get my... assets taken care of. Till then Rose, I will see you later." He kissed her cheek and smiled then walked back to the door.

She nodded, looking at him.
"I don't have much company, for obvious reasons....and it would be nice to be a host to someone that understands me..."
When he walked closer his scent was almost unbearable, he just smelled so sweet. She gave a soft smile and nodded after he kissed her cheek.
"Then I will be expecting you....enjoy the day and stay safe out there..."

"I will. Anyway I will see you later today my friend, get some rest." Thorne winked to her and slipped out the door, heading back to camp and memorized the way there. As he got back to camp, he began packing everything up into a pack and got all his supplies. There was more than he remembered, but he knew he hadn't really gone through anything yet. He finished packing his things and figured he would head back when he noticed something was off. He glanced around and noticed that he saw a foot print that was neither his nor Rose's, and smelled a man in the area.
He glanced up and noticed a single thief, threw a dagger at him, and nailed him in the throat. Thorne approached the dying man and picked him up, cut his throat open wider and poured his blood into a jar, a gift for his new inkeeper. Thorne then finished packing his camp up and headed back to Rose's cabin. As he arrived, he knocked on the door and hoped she heard him, then entered and set his stuff in a corner after he closed the door and set the jar of blood on a table. He grinned and shouted just loud enough so she could hear "Honey I'm home."

After Thorne had left she winched hard in pain. Though the cloak had protected her it still wasn't even. She gently removed her shirt, light burns on her back and her hands. She let out a sigh and pulled on a more lose shirt before turning off the light and crawling in to bed feeling exhausted from her injuries. Within minutes she was fast asleep.
She awoke later, hearing Thorne's voice. Her eyes slowly opened, as she winched as her back sheared with pain. She hoped sleeping would let her heal, but it had been a few weeks since she last fed and now her energy was even lower. She was not feeling well.

Thorne found her laying in bed, he could tell she was in pain, he could hear her breathing and how it was so irregular. He came to her side and sat on the edge of the bed, moving his hair from his neck and exposing his neck. "You need to feed to heal those injuries, now either bite me or I'll cut open something and force feed you." Thorne knew she needed it, and he wanted to be there for her, if for no other reason, then to help someone who had shown him kindness.

"I don't want to hurt you she said gently....It's not fun to be bitten."
She looked at him and then glanced at his neck. It looked so inviting.
"I just need rest...."
She suddenly winched again and let out a soft painful groan.

Thorne sighed, took his nail, and sliced a small spot on his neck open, his blood slowly dripping from the cut. He took her head gently into his hand and helped her to his neck, leaning in so she didn't have very far to go. "Now bite me, I won't get hurt, and I don't mind being fed from, I like it, so start feeding so you can heal." Thorne wouldn't let her stray, he made sure the smell of his blood hit her.
As he wauted for her to feed, he remembered how he had met his former wife, how she had needed to feed and how he fed her when she needed it, it was how they had first fallen for one another. He knew there was a chance of it happening again and the possibility that something could happen, but he knew she needed to feed, and his blood held alot of things that a vampire could use to heal themselves much faster.

The smell of his blood hit her like a frat train. She breathed in the scent of his blood more before she finally bit in to his neck, not being able to resist anymore. She drank slowly, staying focused instead of going in to her usual trance. She did not want to take anymore then she needed and she would most likely take less then that. One of her hands reached up, grabbing is arm and holding on to him as she drank. After a few minutes she pulled back slowly, taking a breath, feeling she had taken enough to sustain her.
