Ok so if ya want to roleplay with Thorne, submit your character here and I will see about roleplaying with you. here is the template.
First Name: Thorne
Middle Name: Keitaro
Last Name: Masla (Changed from Lunari)
Alias: Prince Darkrose
Code Name: Black Rose
Nick Name: Petal Dancer
Age: Unknown
Rank: Emperor
Race: Roselian
Gender: Male
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 200 lbs.
Hair Length: Mid Back Length
Hair Color: Black
Hair Style: Normally falling naturally, Thorne does at some times braid his mid-back length hair so that it stays out of his way during both battle, and when he is relaxing in a hot spring. His bangs are kept out of his face, and fall just over his eyes.
Eye Color: Red
Skin Color: Tan (originally white)
Clothing: Thorne's clothing changes quite often since he is almost always on the move. Normally, he would be adorned with his original royal garments, a top that is embroidered with the family crest of a red rose, laced with vines of gold, the rest of the shirt being a royal forest green, with matching pants that are a bit baggy, allowing for maximum comfort and leisure. Now however, he is normally adorned with plain robes and cloths, covering his faded emerald colored armor that he wears into battle. Thorne wears simple boots that most soldiers in his Empire were accustomed to wearing. He also wears a ring on his right hand with his family insignia, one of his few keep sakes from his mother that was left to him after her death.
Appearance: Thorne has the appearance of a man who has not only lost everything, but a man with nothing to lose and everything to gain. He is very handsome, not having met a single lady he could not woo nor any king who would begrudge him an audience. He looks like a fallen Prince would look, sullen at times, hard and cold, though when in the company of friends or people who truly know him, he appears warm, loving, and passionate. While in his robes, he appears to be a wandering beggar or simple traveler, but when he removes them he has the appearance of a fierce and determined warrior. Once he had the appearance of a very kind and determined Emperor, but that was before his war with his brother, and before the tragedies in his life caught up with him, now seeming to have lost some of his luster and regal appearance, he still looks as handsome as he always had.

Body Build: Thorne's body is perfectly proportioned and is built like that of an accomplished athlete and warrior. His skin is smooth, no blemishes or scars thanks to his healing magic and his Rose Pool. His musculature is lean and defined, considered by some to be what many would call the perfect proportions for the ideal athletic man.
Distinguishing Features: Thorne's most distinguishing feature anywhere he goes are his eyes, which are a much deeper and richer red than any other Roselian ever born, having a certain luster to them that shine brighter than any ruby.
Abilities: Thorne has many varying abilities that set him apart from all others he has ever encountered. First, his magical potential. Thorne showed from a young age that he was quite gifted with the art of magic, showing up his father's mages by the time the boy was eight years old. Like all members of the royal family, Thorne has the magical ability to create a green mist and spew it from his mouth, anything the mist touches is then covered in a thick ravenous growth of any type of vegetation that he wills it to become, most often vines covered in poisonous thorns. Thorne also has the innate ability to use almost every form of magic there is, save for magic dealing with time such as slowing it down and speeding it up, since it was forbidden for anyone to learn. He also learned to manipulate roses and other plants to utilize as weapons, such as hardening them and infusing them with magic, throwing them and using magic to force them to explode as if they were incendiary grenades. His ability in the art of combat is just as impressive, learning new martial arts everywhere he goes, practicing and learning until he masters every fighting style he comes across. In his travels in the universe, Thorne has learned hundreds of thousands of different fighting styles and has mastered them all. He is practiced with all manner of weapons, but favors blades more than anything and has developed the ability to use any bladed weapon he can find.
Weapons: Thorne uses a variety of weapons, the most common however being his massive Roselian Blade, a magical sword that has been passed down his families line ever since they were established as the royal family. The weapon is similar to a buster sword, though to Thorne, like all in the royal family capable of wielding it, the sword seems as if it were an extension of their body, thus not hindering their movement in the slightest. Thorne also uses a rapier when in a more civilized fight, to show he has honor and grace, as well as strength, speed, and power. Thorne also carries on him several daggers that he can use both close quarters and can use as throwing weapons. He prefers fighting hand to hand or with a sword but will use any bladed weapon at his disposal if necessary.
Personality: Thorne is what some would consider a cold and heartless person, though it is only a facade he puts on in the company of people he does not know. Deep down he is still the kind hearted, fierce warrior that his people knew as their Emperor. Though he would never admit it out loud, Thorne is very shy around people and tends to keep to himself, but is a vicious and fierce fighter, and a loyal friend to those he believes he can trust. He hasn't got much of a sense of humor since the death of his beloved wife and son, but before he was very care free and open to joking with others. He is laid back, calm, collected, and above all he is always on guard.
Likes: Snakes, reptiles, flowers, gardening, training, reading, writing, practicing magic, traveling, thoughts of his wife.
Dislikes: Cats, machines, anything that destroys nature, talking about his past, his nightmares, his brother.
Home: Planet Known as Paradoxia, Empire of Roselian.
Relatives: Allister Lunari (Father, deceased), Solaria Lunari (Mother, deceased), Seraphim Darkthorn (Brother, missing), Xion Valrus Masla (Brother, missing)
History: A stormy night in the Roselian capitol proved to be fruitful as the Empress, Queen of all Roselian, gave birth to twin boys, one with black hair and red eyes, the other with white hair and green eyes. The white haired child supposedly died during birth and was quickly taken away before the queen could get a good look at him, but the other, she cradled in her arms and snuggled. She and her husband, the Emperor of all Roselian, named their son Thorne Keitaro Lunari, first son of the Royal family and heir to the Lunari Throne. Thorne grew up with his mother and father being very close to him until he reached the age of five, upon which his father seemed to begin getting more irritable and violent towards his mother, belittling her in front of Thorne, though he was too young to say anything about it to his father.
When Thorne turned seven years old, he met a young white haired green eyed boy whom the scientist's called Project Jareth. Thorne's mother, upon seeing the boy, convinced Allister to let her adopt the boy as her son, since he reminded her of the son she lost while giving birth. Though she never knew it, this boy was indeed the boy who she gave birth to, and gave him her Maiden name of Masla, renaming him Xion Valrus Masla. Thorne's father hated the boy for a reason that Thorne could not understand at his young age, but his father would one day explain it in full detail. Xion had died at birth, and was used in genetic experimentation and brought back to life one year after his death. Thorne's father had been trying to combine Roselian genes with those of their slaves the Shorin, a bipedal cat-like people who were in many ways equal to the Roselians whom had enslaved them. Though Xion knew these things, Thorne had been kept in the dark to protect him, though it would prove to be more fuel to the fire in the near future.
Upon Thorne's tenth birthday, he was left in the forest to find his way back, as all Roselian princes had to do in order to one day become Emperor. While in the forests, Thorne learned to kill or be killed for survival, eating what he killed most of the time. Once a search party was sent after him, to track his progress. They never returned, Thorne killed every single one of them, since one of the soldiers had pointed his blade at the boy threatening to strike him. Thorne killed the entire group without mercy, and returned to his home just after his twelfth birthday.
Thorne discovered when he came home that his father had become more violent, beating his mother and Xion daily, and upon his son's return, he began beating Thorne as well. One night Thorne and Xion watched in horror and disbelief as their father beat Solaria to death, leaving her in the floor bloodied and beaten. Thorne and Xion attended the funeral a few days later, Xion crying his eyes out while Thorne just stood next to his father, head down, but not crying for fear that his father would beat him for it. That night, his father beat Xion for hours, screaming at him that he should never cry, never show any weakness, especially in front of his people or the slaves. Thorne could only cover his ears and hope their father decided to stop with Xion that night and stumble drunk to bed, but then again he always hoped that. Allister stumbled off to bed that night without beating Thorne, but the damage had been done, Thorne wandered into his brother's room and held him to his chest as he worked the healing magic he had learned in the forest. "Soon brother we'll make this madness come to an end, and he'll never hurt us again."
The night of Thorne's thirteenth birthday, Allister had cornered the boys, preparing to beat them yet again, as he had done every night since Thorne had come home, only this time the boys had taken enough of their father's actions. As Allister closed in on them, Thorne and Xion leapt over him, bounding from the floor , both drawing swords from their sheaths and attacking Allister, slashing down his body and taking out his Achilles tendons, forcing the Emperor to his knees. Thorne placed his sword on one side of his fathers neck, and Xion placed his on the other. "We will not be hit again." Xion said to his adopted father, Thorne nodding and adding "Good bye Allister." as the boys then subsequently be-headed their father.
Five years later, on Thorne's eighteenth birthday he was crowned the new Emperor of the Roselian Empire, the people, both slaves and subjects, cheered as the young prince became the new Emperor. "As first act as your new Emperor, I here by change my last name in the hopes that my Subjects may forget the Tyrant who was my father, and see me for who I truly am. As of this day I take the name my mother gave my brother Xion, her maiden name of Masla." Thorne announced, denouncing his father's name of Lunari, and starting a new era in the Roselian Empire, the era of Thorne Keitaro Masla. The crowd cheered as Thorne then freed the Shorin, and made them equal to the Roselians. Xion, after announcing what had been done to him, was then elected by both Thorne and the Shorin to be the new Emperor of a new Empire that would rule alongside the Roselians, thus beginning the Shorin Empire.
For several years, Thorne and his brother coexisted perfectly fine as Emperors of the two greatest Empires in all the Universe, until a high ranking Shorin clergymen was murdered by a Roselian soldier who thought he was breaking in to the royal palace. Xion, who had been becoming distant from his brother, took the act as an act of war, then declaring war against the Roselian Empire for crimes against his people. Thorne tried his hardest to stop his brother, but Xion refused to listen to him. From there, things continued to escalate until finally, the brothers were at war with one another. There were many battles waged both in the forests and in the cities, one of which was described by many interstellar scholars as "The bloodiest battle in all of history." Thorne and Xion ended the war in battle against one another, in which for once in his life, Thorne was beaten by his younger brother. Xion ripped Thorne's arm off with his own bare hands, then made his brother watch as he slaughtered not only Thorne's wife Kira and their son, but his entire race was slaughtered as well. Thorne crept to his healing chamber in his ship, the rose pool and healed for six months as he healed and re-grew the arm he had lost.
Since then, Thorne wanders the universe in search of his brother Xion and his traveling Empire, looking for signs of the creatures where ever he goes. Several times Thorne has run into his brother, and on both occasions has fought with and beaten back his younger brother. Thorne never truly defeated his brother, and once lost his memory and worked as his brothers general until he regained his memory and fought with his brother once again, nearly killing Xion. Thorne continues his travels even now, and swears upon the dead souls of his people, whom he took into himself after the decimation of his Empire, that he will kill his brother and avenge the death of every single man, woman, and child who was killed by the Shorin and his brother Xion.
RP Sample: Thorne's eyes watered as he knelt beside a grave, the head stone reading "Here lies Catherine Lilian Luminess, the light among the Lily's." Thorne cried softly as he remembered dear little Lily, running and playing as her brother Geranium Allen Luminess, the eldest son of the Luminess noble family, watched over his sister and her friends, then flashes of the girl's kid napper, their former gardener, a man named Jackal. He had taken little Lily from her bed at night and raped her, tortured her and made her cry out in agony, Thorne had tracked the man down and pinned him to a tree with thorn covered vines, created by the green mist Thorne had spewed from his mouth. Thorne nearly beat the man to death as Geranium watched, then pulled Thorne back just before he killed him.
Thorne could only watch as the man was tried and convicted by the town for murder and rape, but before the man was hung, he escaped the town and struck again, trying to kill Geranium for allowing Thorne to beat him. Thorne had stopped him though, and this time he didn't stop, he killed Jackal mercilessly, making the man beg for death before he finally killed him. Geranium and the townspeople thanked Thorne for stopping the man and for killing him, but the fact that Thorne had failed to save poor Lily had not made him feel any better. Thorne lay a Rose on her grave and whispered softly "I'm so sorry Lily... please forgive me." A single tear trailed down his face and fell upon her grave as Thorne then stood up, straightened his robes, and headed out of town.
"You can stay with us you know, you don't have to leave again Thorne." Geranium said as he stood behind Thorne, both just outside the city limits. "I let her die Geranium... I couldn't save her in time." Thorne replied, turning to look his friend in the eye, his crimson gaze meeting Geranium's orange eyes, then bowing and turning to walk away. "I'm sorry I let her down... and I am sorry I let you down Geranium... tell everyone I said good bye, and that I will be thinking of them always." Thorne said, Geranium only nodded and turned back towards town to tell the people of the man he saw as a hero, the man he knew saw himself as a vagabond and a failure, a lost prince from a fallen kingdom who would always be little Lily's best friend and guardian, the man they called Thorne.
